I was there for the filming of Jane's scene at the funeral. It was moving in person, especially knowing how much pain Jane was in physically at the time.

I can't remember if I mentioned this or not- lack of sleep! Sorry if I did!

Wasn't that just before, or just after, her back surgery, Mary Ann?

Elaine, I believe it was shortly after her surgery. I think she had to wear a special corset (under her Dr. Quinn corsets) during the filming.

Carina, you may have heard about Jane injuring her back while filming "Blackout". She got a herniated disc which had to be operated.

Mary Ann, please correct me if I'm wrong, in both aspects. Wink

Yes Anne, you're correct, Jane threw her back out during Blackout swinging a golf club and ended up with a herniated disk. She was wearing a special corset during filming of Heart Within which was sort of covered by the bustle on the costume but was the reason she appeared more 'stiff' less fluid in her movements if you watch her. This was about 3 weeks after her surgery that she had to film, she as in a lot of pain, We saw her that night literally limping down the aisle after a grueling film session from about 5 PM to 11PM or so when they finally brought in a stand in. We were in the pews on one of the aisles in the church watching and she looked over at us smiled weekly and then sort of hobble out of the church.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. I knew she hurt her back that way but had no idea about the temporal relation. Poor Jane Sad
