Hi Dawna, I'm glad you rediscovered Dr. Quinn. There are so many wonderful things about it. I've been a fan of other shows in the past, but nothing like the way I feel about DQ. It really touches your heart, and even after seeing the episodes "a million times," I never get tired of seeing them. There's just something extra special about the entire series. There has never been another show like it, and I really believe never again will there be a show like it.

These days I miss it even more since there are so few shows on I like. Only two: Dancing With the Stars and Heartland.

Dawna (and everyone else)

Its nice to read all these recent posts!! Smile I now own the series (YAY) and it is permanently played and replayed in the DVD player in my bedroom - so every night I watch one episode when I get home from work. I too have probably seen them all a million times by now, but everytime, each strikes something in me - whether its anger, laughter, sadness, etc. Some I absolutely hate to watch and some I love to watch - like Cooper vs. Quinn and Another Woman both make me SO mad and Washita makes me cry...but on the other hand, Happy Birthday makes me laugh as does To Have and To Hold - especially with the Jane/Joe commentary playing...its pretty hysterical - especially at the very end!

Yep! I've loved horses for as long as I can remember (probably ever since I was old enough to know what a horse was). My family often teases me that I'm part horse, LOL Very Happy

Hi Joanna:

There's nothing like the magic of our equine friends! Do you currently own a horse?

I've had "Black Beauty Disease" since I was three years old and I've had t he pleasure of sharing my life with some pretty remarkable horses. I had to put down my 30 year old QH mare 10 years ago, after owning her for 22 years. Needless to say, that loss left an indelible hole in my soul and it's taken all these years to think about finding another horse.

After looking for almost 6 months, I recently purchased a new horse (9 yr. QH gelding) and "Ty" is turning out to be an awesome horse. But I've discovered that after 10 years away from horses, there's been a lot of changes and my legs need a whole lot of work!
