Okay, I realize I'm nearly 4 years late on watching the first film. I didn't think I'd be too wild about it because I'm more into love stories and less into murder mysteries. However, I loved it!! Prudence has those comical moments that made me laugh several times throughout the movie. That was probably my favorite thing about the movie, the comedic moments. I also felt like the character of Nigel had a very good and comfortable rapport with her. He feels, to me, a lot more comfortable and less awkward than the second Nigel. I know the character's kind of awkward anyway... but I felt like this guy just really nailed the role... his mannerisms were funny. I see why this movie got the ratings to call for a second.
Also, I was excited to see Snowbird!!

Woohoo for being late! Smile

Hi Luis, I am well and you? Just glad to be home for the summer and relax a bit.

I agree about her old movies... I have two of them from the 80's that I've yet to have the time to sit and watch because I believe both were miniseries and are so long.

Yes... the first Nigel had an amazing rapport with Jane. One of my favorite scenes was where they were putting photos together like a puzzle and she asked him if he knew what... I think it was "la petit mor" or something like that meant... I looked it up, and then watched the whole scene again and I just died laughing!! They were very comical together.

If one of them is War and Remembrance you should definitely give it a try. I detected it only recently and fell madly in love with it despite the very serious topic. Jane is splendid in her role as Natalie.

Yes... that is one! and East of Eden is the other. I just got them February and I've been away at school. I had 6 classes and I knew that if I started watching one, I wouldn't get anything done until I watched them all. So I left them home to take away the temptation haha. I just got home this week for the summer though and even though I'll be taking 4 classes online through my school, I should still have a little bit of time to watch them.
