All I know is Jane said publicly she sang and danced in the movie to Lady Gaga. One of us will have to ask her next time we see her

It's just that her (if it's really hers) singing voice sounds so much different than in Dr. Quinn. But hey, with vocal coaches and autotune you can do anything to make it sound different. Anyway, I'm still impressed because you can see she sagn while dancing no matter whether or not her voice was dubbed later on. She did a fantastic job and I'm glad she's in the movie at least as much as I hoped she would be. ♥

Anne, I think what they did with Jane, with all of them was use a synthesizer on their voices, it gives it that pop rock sound but is very different likely from their real voices. I'm sure they did something similar with Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnon in Abba the Musical- I still think Jane could have easily done that part! Meryl isn't known for her singing but with a little techie help anyone can sound decent.

I liked the actor who plays youn Ryan, he was really cute, he and Chelsea Kane were such an adorable couple. Unfortunately, and I really can't help it, the actor who plays older Ryan reminds me of Mr. Potatohead. I mean, Jane deserves better, LOL. Wink

LOL he was in Dukes of Hazzard with John Schneider.
John fared MUCH better than Tom Wopat I totally agree.
I wish they had had John in the part of her ex husband.

LOL, I never watched the "Dukes", so that's why I didn't know Tom. Indeed John Schneider would have been a good choice plus he can sing. Wink But then, Drew Seeley (sp.?) doesn't really look like youn John Schneider so they would have to cast someone else for his younger self. Wink

I haven't seen a lot about this movie so I can't wait for...

@Mary Ann : I agree with you about "Cougar Jane", I prefer the "normal" Jane too.

Will share more when I will know more about the movie.

If any of you are still looking for the movie drop me a note, either through PM here or (preferably) on Facebook (because that's where I've been more often lately). I d/l'ed it in really good quality and was able to turn it into decend DVD format. My friend hasn't sent me the copy she made yet due to work and family issues. But I'm glad I got hold of it the other way so it's better to have it twice than none. Wink
