Geneviève, in "Matters of the Heart" Jane's character, Hadley Norman, is a well-known pianist and composer who falls in love with her student. She's about 40, he's 18.

But it's a very beautiful movie with Jane at her finest.
Christopher Gartin who plays Steve is some eye candy himself. Wink

And there's a tissue warning in case you haven't seen it yet.

Really Mary Ann? Where? I mean, all I have is a taped-from-TV-and converted to DVD German version of it. If there is a PAL version available, I need to find it. I mean, I can very easily convert the film into Code 0 (for all regions) and NTSC (for American viewers). But I need to find this DVD first. Wink

Hmm, I never heard of the DVD until Mary Ann's post. I know Yesterday's Children is out on DVD (in France), and Fanny Kemble (in the Netherlands) .... but never of Matters of the Heart. I haven't seen it on Ebay nor Amazon....

Oh yes! I love this movie. Here it is called "Concerto for Lady H". Oh, I think it is a beautiful story, once again it proves age is without importance, only the heart. I have it in digital audio tape and it is good.
Really, I love this movie. I love it!
