This is certainly the first time I've seen THIS. The producers are apparently releasing Wedding Crashers in select theaters for one day only TONIGHT a day before the DVD comes out. I wish Jane herself had this publicity machine! If you want to see if it's at a theater in your area (I presume small theaters) you can plug in your zip code on the movie's website.

Oh Canice, if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't hesitate jumping to one of the theaters and watch the movie. Wink Go ahead and do it while you're still there. Laughing

I just looked in today's paper and found that it's showing the the "dollar" theater near here. (It's actually $1.75, but who's counting? Laughing )

Oh, believe me, Anne.....I wouldn't go near that theater! It's cheap, yes, but the riff-raff of the city hang out there. I'll pay $8.50 any day before I'd go there! Shocked

I couldn't agree with you more Elaine! Although going to the theater in general is just getting so bad. We paid $8.75 bucks a person to go see King Kong and there were 2 ladies in their 50-60s talking (and NOT about the movie, it was gossip.) I got up and went over to tell them that we paid to watch the movie not to hear their stories and one of them who thought she was so cute told me to "open my eyes." I went and told the management and he came to talk to them and they ended up leaving because they were so 'offended.' I refuse to pay that kind of money to see a movie and have it be interuppted by rude people. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad It is absolutely ridiculous, espcecially when my CHILD can sit quietly and act better then most adults. We even get there 15-30 minuites early. Rolling Eyes I am finished with my rant now. Sorry!! Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Paige~~

I know exactly what you mean! My husband and I had a man with two young children sitting behind us when we went to see one of The Lord of the Rings movies (PG-13). The theater was packed, so we couldn't move, but he was explaining everything to the kids (neither of them could have been over 5), as they continued to ask questions throughout the entire movie. It was very annoying! Evil or Very Mad

I just cannot see how someone can be so rude! Evil or Very Mad Spending that much money might not mean much to them but if we are going to spend that kind of money to go see a movie I want to see and HEAR the movie! Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad

That is why it is a good idea to wait till the DVD comes out!! Then you don't have to pay to hear people talking while you are enjoying the movie!! People can be so rude, it is unreal.

And to wait for the DVD is so much cheaper than go to cinema with the whole family.
