Dear friends, I hope it is the good place for a question.... and an answer!
Do you can help me and say me the tittle of the movie where Jane plays Mimi a grandma, with a young girl playing her granddaughter and where it is question of school, horses and relations in family.
I see the story on Jane's cast page but I don't read the tittle.
Thank you very much.
Geneviève

Dear Genevieve,

Sounds like it might be this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2818348/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_9 The movie is called Saige Paints the Sky.

No problem, Gen, I check this board every day or two to see if anything's new. Glad I could help. BTW, if you haven't already, you should go to IMDb, sign up, and give DQMW a 10 and also vote for Cloud Dancing as your favorite Native American in a poll that may show up on that page. They have lots of interesting stuff on there. Here's a link to make it easy. Smile http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103405/?ref_=ttmd_md_nm

I know how you feel, Genevieve. I'm very frustrated right now because I would love to buy Gran Hotel. The series is available on DVD but only in the European format. And I don't know if it has English subtitles, which I would, of course, need. Why can't they make DVDs all in the same format? So aggravating! I'm thinking of looking for a new player that could handle the other format, but I'm not at all sure there are such things here. Crying or Very sad

Yes, it's so ridiculous.... European format, US format, and also Asiatic format!!!!!
Why are they all in the same format? And, as you, I fear it doesn't exist a machine able to read all the different DVDs...
Gen ( Oh, here, my friends call me Genny!)

Hi Genny, Smile

OMG, I didn't realize there was an Asian format, too! Sheesh! Well, I did see someone on IMDb mention there was a multi-format player, but I can just imagine how much it costs. I just may look, however. What the heck? There are some great things to see from Europe, and they don't all get put out over here, apparently.

Hi Mary Ann and Cherubin,

I have a Mac, too, but I was unaware it would play DVDs from the various regions. I'll have to check that out.

Can you guys not buy/rent versions from sources such as iTunes or GooglePlay or Amazon? We can do that here... I know it's not a hard copy, but it's a legal download and you can see the movie. Smile
