I recently saw that movie Very Happy and I'll agree that it's one of Jane's best works Wink ...she has a way to give life to the character she's playing....and the Irish accent Smile ...really great job. Please Joyce...don't worry about your English.Mine aren't good either Wink

Good thing I have it on DVD, this way I can watch it anytime I want. Smile

I agree! It's a very touching movie--Jane did such a wonderful job. Very Happy I really love movies that are based on true-life stories, and this is one of the best.

Sadly, Carol, this movie is not yet available on DVD in the US. At least I've not been able to find evidence of it. I taped it off the TV, but I've seen VHS tapes on eBay, so it is available in that format.

Carol, Elaine is right. It's been released in France, and I got my copy from Ebay. But I could convert it for you into Region code 0 AND into NTSC (the american video and TV system), so that you would be able to watch it on your DVD player. Or, if you have a multi-region player, you might look for it on Ebay and no conversion is necessary. Smile

There are several DVDs of Yesterday's Children on eBay right now, but they're all Region 2.

A tape is perfectly fine for now anyway. If it ever comes to the US on DVD, I'll get it, but I'm content with the video for now. It's better than not having it at all. Very Happy
