TV Movie DVD! My, this sounds like that guy recorded it from TV and then burnt it to DVD and now thinks he can make a profit with it. Boah, that's high way robbery at its finest. Shocked

As much as I'd love to have it on DVD, but not for this price. Rolling Eyes

I agreed Anne. This is really too high price for a DVD... and we don't even know the audio and video quality.

If anyone has the movie, I am willing to convert it to DVD like the others.

I've seen the movie, and I don't think that group shot of the cheerleaders is even from the movie. Jane isn't even in it, that I can see. She's in the other shots, and that's how she looked throughtout. I wouldn't pat that for it--I wouldn't trust the seller.

I have seen the movie when it first aired on TV. I was in high school and it was a great movie that I remember. But not for that much money. That seller must be crazy, even though I am sure some crazy person will buy it to. But not this crazy one!!! Laughing

My thoughts exactly, Carol. I've seen it--I have a poor copy off of cable--and it's not that great of a movie (no fault of Jane's--she's the best actress in it, by far). Just a lame story, cheesy acting (they used a number of real cheerleaders, who are NOT actresses), and very predictable. For $5 at WalMart, maybe, but not $30.

Irene, I believe that is what we all are thinking.

That is what I am also thinking Irene, way too much money for what is probably a copy. I would love to add it to my collection, but I will find another way. Wink

I agree with you all, just thought if someone wanted to see it that badly, I would post it. Actually, I've found that people often do charge a lot for these homemade dvds because they ARE so rare. I've paid up to $20 for homemade dvds of movies that are just never shown anymore. I agree though it IS taking advantage.

For me, I will only pay that much if that movie is really really rare and it is something that I want to see. Or else the most is about $15 to $20.

I agree I would think about paying that much ONLY if it were really worth the money and something so rare and hard to find. But I can't stand the thought of someone trying to take advantage of someone. It sickens me that people are that money hungry. It really irks me. It would really have to be special for me to even come close to paying that price. And who is to know if it is even top quality material?

That's right, Carol. The only way to "beat" these greedy people is for everyone to boycott their stuff, but unfortunately someone usually "sucks it up" and pays them what they want. If people could be patient, and not give in right away, the seller might eventually reduce the asking price.
