Thanks for the explanations. I think it never was given in France. Or it was before I watch TV!!!! It seems really sad!

Yes, Genevieve, it was sad, but it had many heart-warming moments. And it had the strong message of a devoted marriage based on true love and commitment.

Awww I haven't seen it either. Sad I don't think I've seen Barbara in anything else than Dr. Quinn. I'd like to, though. If Dr. Quinn is anything to do with, I bet she's great in other roles as well. Very Happy Does she still make movies?

Jen, like most actresses her age, Barbara hasn't been offered any decent roles lately, she actually prefers theater though and has done some plays in Carmel and also Ireland where she lives part of the year. She did a sort of "Dynasty-like' series a few years ago that didn't survive long but her part was very minimal. She is a wonderful actress and having seen her in Hay fever on stage- just a delight in comedy!

Oh I see. Yes the lack of good roles is such a shame. *sigh* I really like her in Dr. Quinn and can only try to imagine how she would be in a play. I never thought of her as a comedy actress, so that's something totally new to me. Probably because Dorothy didn't very often have these funny moments Loren, Hank and Horace had. Sounds great, though. Smile

It is such a shame that good actress does not get decent roles. Glad that Barbara are able to do some theater.
