1. What is your favorite piece of music?

Bach and "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles.

2. What is your favorite film?

Being John Malkovich (not only because my husband Orson Bean plays Dr. Lester).

3. What is your favorite TV program, past or current?

Past: Wonder Years.
Present: Wonder Years! & The Simpsons.

4. What do you feel has been your most important professional accomplishment to date?

Professionally I'd have to say playing Norma Arnold for seven years – I'd done 10 other series before that, but only up to 13 weeks, and never in the top 5. When a show is loved an awful lot of folks get to know you... it's wild.

5. Which project do you feel didn't live up to what you envisioned?

Jim Brooks' The Associates – a series I did in 1979 starring opposite Martin Short about lawyers. Still a cult favorite of TV buffs.

6. What is your favorite book?

Under the Volcano, by Malcolm Lowry.

7. If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be?

Canada... and money getting so out of control – how much do we vagabonds really need?

8. Who – or what – would you say has had the biggest influence on your career?

Doing a lot of theatre when I was young (and still is as my husband and I continue to do theatre whenever we can).

9. What is your next project?

A film directed by Danica McKellar ("Winnie Cooper" in Wonder Years) and a soon-to-be-released independent film produced by John Cusack – Never Get Outta the Boat about drug addiction.

10. What is the one project that you've always wanted to do, but have yet to be able to?

Relax!
