WARREN, Pa., March 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Crossing Pointe, a division of Blair Corporation (Amex: BL - News ), ( www.blair.com ), announced today the dissolution of its partnership with the actress, author and designer, Jane Seymour, effective September 18, 2004.

Crossing Pointe entered into a three-year agreement with Jane Seymour in September of 2001 to produce and distribute the Jane Seymour Signature Collection sold exclusively through its catalog and e-commerce Web site. Both parties have mutually elected not to renew the contract.

During its three and half years in operation as a start-up initiative of Blair Corporation, Crossing Pointe has continued to develop and enhance its own value-priced, private label assortments targeted to Baby Boomers.

"As our businesses mature, Crossing Pointe and Jane Seymour have mutually agreed to pursue other directions," explained Lewis Shapiro, Crossing Pointe's Vice President and General Manager. "We are pleased that Crossing Pointe was the first channel Jane Seymour selected to realize her lifelong dream of designing fashion at affordable prices, and we wish her well in her new endeavors."

According to Jane Seymour, she plans to explore other retail distribution channels for her designs. "My association with Crossing Pointe made my dream of designing fashion a reality, for which I am most appreciative."
