MASTERS GALA BENEFIT AT THE FESTIVAL OF ARTS RETURNS FOR FESTIVE CELEBRATION
OF ART AND CULTURE Laguna Beach, CA — On Saturday evening, August 30, 2003, starting at 5:00pm, The Festival of Arts – California’s Premier Fine Art Exhibition presents the 5th Annual Pageant of the Masters Gala Benefit, celebrating another very successful year! This exclusive, highly anticipated, one-night event, will offer guests an evening of music, dancing and the traditional Pageant of the Masters performance, which will be the final outstanding performance of the summer, entitled "SEASONS". The event will be held at the Irvine Bowl Park, located at 650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Acclaimed actress and artist, Jane Seymour, will host the affair, which will entertain over 2,500 guests, and includes Festival artists, celebrities and local VIPs from the community. The Gala is black-tie preferred and highlights include music, entertainment, dancing, great food, art and a silent auction. Last year’s event raised over $200,000 and is expected to raise even more this year. Proceeds from Gala benefit the Festival of Arts Building Fund. Ms. Seymour will also be participating in the Festival when she kicks off the premiere night of the Festival’s new reading series called, Books Live! Prose Performed by Pro’s, on August 24th, with her husband, James Keach. The series will be held in the newly renovated Forum Theater, tickets are $20 – seating is limited, and includes a private reception. Seymour will join the Festival as a guest artist, and her very own paintings will be on display during the entire Festival of Arts summer season. The Festival of Arts- California’s Premier Fine Art Exhibition will soon be in full force this year, featuring over 145 world-class artisans from July 6 through August 29, 2003 in Laguna Beach, California. The annual event, now in its 71st year, is California’s longest-running outdoors fine art exhibit. General admission tickets to view The Festival of Arts – California’s Premier Fine Art Exhibition is a season pass of $5 and $3 for seniors and students. Patrons are encouraged to make repeat visits.
