About Welcome to Paradise
The inspirational family story of a preacher who is sent from a big city church to Paradise, a small, rural community that is in desperate need of direction. Willam Shockley and Crystal Bernard star
Synopsis

From Helene Udy
I just loved this film. It actually had a hint of the wonderful flavor of Dr. Quinn to it. Beautifully developped ensemble cast of characters led by a truly beleievable and likeable performance from the charismatic heroine played by Crystal Bernard. What a pleasure to watch her warm and earthy personality in action.

William as expected is a dreamy romantic counterpart in a role that  contrary to his role on DQ allows him to be as open and available as he is in life. This a movie for audiences old and young alike. And it will leave one feeling all great things are possible in this world with a little determination. Which of course they are, as William's own journey in the making of this movie (at a time where feelgood movies are not high on the marketbility priority of many large
distributors), in and of itself shows.

From one movie goer..
"I saw this movie tonight at my church, It was great. I really enjoyed it. William plays a good guy in this!
If it plays near you I certainly recommend seeing it."

Note from William Shockley

"WELCOME TO PARADISE was selected to screen at the 2006 "Dixie Film Festival" in Atlanta.   On October 15 at 6pm.

We were offered the honor of "Official Selection", but we  turned that title down due to the fact that a film cannot screen at the "Sundance Film Festival" if the film has  been a prior 'Official' selection at a different fest.  "
